The development of Internet of Things (IoT) could affect the IoT markets and the evolution of IoT deployments. There is a largely unexplored opportunity to develop compelling IoT solutions that explore the ability to collect and analyse the real-time data to transform businesses.
Mr Nelson TSE is the founder of Million Tech Development Limited, one of the leading Auto-ID companies in Hong Kong. Mr TSE graduated from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 1982 with a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Mr TSE has developed label robots to provide automatic label management for the industry.
Mr Joe SUN is a General Manager of Thinxtra Hong Kong, with more than 20 years of experience in the Telecom sector and has a proven track record of business development and successfully defining new strategy and generating new revenue. Before Thinxtra, Joe worked at CSL leading CSL’s mobile solutions development team and focusing on delivering innovative IOT solutions for enterprise customers.
Mr Lawrence LAW is currently a Security Consultant of the HKPC, where Lawrence leads the infrastructure and operation team of HKCERT, manages cyber security consultancy projects and delivers external training services. Mr LAW has over 10 years of working experience in information security and has solid technical background on IT infrastructure, system and network administration. Lawrence is currently a holder of information security designations of CEH, CISA and CISM. He also holds CISSP and CIFI.
Mr Desmond CHAN is currently a Lead Consultant of the HKPC and has more than 20 years of experience in IT consultancy, project management, system design, integration and implementation. Mr CHAN engages and participates in technology research and development for innovation related applications, leads and provides consultancy to enterprises to perform digital transformation, and assists traditional industries to adopt emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data analytics, Internet of Things, etc.
